About The Speaker
President of AIGAB and CEO of Italianway
Marco Celani, 46, has been the CEO of Italianway since 2016, the leading operator on the Italian short-term rental market for covered destinations and the number of properties managed.
Since 2020 he is also President of the Italian Association of Short Rentals Managers, AIGAB, founded by the big players in the sector to guarantee institutional representation to property managers, analyze data and encourage the creation of a solid network of entrepreneurs that will help the market grow.
Thanks to her solid background in finance, Celani has held international management roles in groups such as Citibank, BNP Paribas and Asset Management Service, carrying out company valuations, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations.
In recent years, as an advisor, he has focused his interest on the Small and Medium Enterprises sector, founding Sequor Capital Management, a company specializing in assisting companies in extraordinary transactions and in supporting start-ups in the growth process.
He is usually invited as a lecturer in post-graduate Masters in Economics and Tourism Management, and as a speaker at major national and international events dedicated to hotel extras, to indicate the latest market trends to the insiders and students themselves.
He is convinced that only thanks to adequate professionalization, which passes through a structured training course, will Italian property managers be able to win the challenge of sustainability in this business.
Marco’s session is going to be included in the Market Focus Italy schedule, which is going to be released very soon.
